Relief Block Prints

Saturday, October 19th, 9:30 am – 12:30

$65 Members, $80 Non-Members

This class will teach you how to carve, ink and print your own edition of linocut/relief prints.  No prior experience required.

You will learn to create an image that is well-suited for relief printing, practice carving techniques and inking modifications to get the best results.

We will also go over how to register layers for more intricate multicolor prints, as well as making “puzzle-block” multicolor prints and incorporating texture and monotype modifications.

Each participant will leave with a group of prints from the class and their own block to make more.

Materials will be provided by Erin.
